Market Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare & serve market goods
Interact with customers
Handle transactions
Set-up/tear down pop-up shop
Clean and maintain vendor area
Ensure Food Safety Regulations are followed
Process pending online/bulk orders
Assistance during monthly Farm Workshops
Market Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
Must be 18+
Must have a food handler's certificate
Must have a basic knowledge of current technology
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
Able to work in outdoor conditions
Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as with a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable transportation is encouraged

Market Days: Wednesdays & Saturdays
Market Spaces: Shiprock Flea Market (next to bridge) & Shiprock Farmers' Market (next to Nataaní Nez Restaurant)

Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops
Weed control & basic yard work
Process Farm Products
Clean and maintain facilities
Assist in general labor duties as needed
Ensure safety standards are followed
Assistance during monthly Farm Workshops
Farm Hand Requirements and Qualifications
Must be 18+
Able to lift heavy objects
Able to work in all weather conditions
Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as with a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable transportation is encouraged
Farm Work Days & Locations
Work Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Farm Locations: Biyáál Family Farm (2nd Wash) & Beyale Farm (5th Lane)
